Over the last few years the need for conferences has changed, however products still need to be launched, and some companies now see the benefits gained for work colleagues to be able meet-up in the face to face conference atmosphere. I have been involved in designing, theming and building conferences, exhibitions and events in the UK, Europe and the USA, for clients within the pharmaceutical, telecommunication, alcohol, motor, insurance, health care, and fashion industries.
Peugeot
A set for Peugeot to launch their latest sports coupé. The shapes were inspired by the sweeping lines of the car, especially the lights. The concept was created over night to be presented to the client the following day.
Seagram
A top end conference for country managers and VIPs for Seagram in Vienna. A single screen set raked at an angle stage right, with the rostrum surrounded by pillars that lit up at salient points during the opening speech.
Seagram
A Seagram conference originally meant for Cairo, relocated to Istanbul, the set reflected the middle east culture, with the emphasis of the speeches on the new markets in the region and sub Sahara Africa.
Nortel
This is a Trilite supported three screen set used for the interactive conference for Nortel in Madrid to launch their new partnership. Because of the tight budget the venue was reset for the evening gala dinner.
Altana
A small set built on the second floor of the company’s new offices, these smaller events gives employees the chance to get a perspectives and feedback on the company and can also help new employees adapt to the different corporate culture.
